Alumni Tea 2005

My personal goal for attendance at the Alumni Tea was 1,000.  The most previously had been 900.  I want to believe we did it, but no one took an accurate count.  So, in lieu of that, I'm claiming 800-1,000 Alumni and friends showed up.  Below are some candids I took.  My camera is not the best, but other Alumni have sent me photos I'll put up later that are much clearer and better posed.  This event was another rousing success, thanx! to Conkie and Lonnie, Dinker and Froggy, Maggie Leivas and others too numerous to name.

The first picture is of Buni Harvey Hooper, one of my oldest and very dearest of friends.  She is arguably one of the most famous people who ever graduated from Parker High School.  As usual, she was working, taking care of 'lil' darlins' at her daycare center, while everyone else played.  These kinds of lifetime friendships are so precious and dear to me...that's why I love going 'home' again.  The second picture is of Donna Lyons, whom I hadn't seen for over 40 years.  She hasn't changed a bit!
