Sunday - April 23, 2006 - Had a good time
yesterday at the mini-Phoenix reunion. Not many
Alumni showed up, but those that did had a grrrr8! time, and it was nice
seeing Patsy Burns Cox after 45 years! Norma Marcy and I had a
wonderful ride up to Scottsdale and back listening to good ol' Gospel
music on the new CD Precious Memories by Alan Jackson. Wally
Burgess regaled us with story after story of the way long gone past in
Parker. He's even older than Dinker Martin. Thanx! to the
Marcy's for hosting the get together. (My family and I are playing The
Biggest Loser game to lose weight. I'm down over 40 lbs. so far, as
is evidenced by these photos. We each put in $100 and if we lose 10%
in 12 weeks, we get $75 back, and the Biggest Loser gets everyone else's
$25. I figure I have to lose 36 lbs. to win, my family is so
competitive!)
